Babies are relaxing.
I realize that most parents - especially new parents - might beg to differ, but I tell ya, watching that kid sleep is therapeutic. She visited her Grandma and Grandpa's house for the first time today. The photo's are of her zonked out on my Dad's chest.

After Luke was born, I would stop by Lori's on my way home from work. He mostly would just sleep while I held him.. mesmerizing. One day I got very terrible news at school, some baby time was just the ticket to help lift some of that sorrow. The concept of how tiny and peaceful they look.. again, mesmerizing.. calming.
This blog is dead anyway.
